Soccer: Premier League Betting Preview and Picks

What’s up premier league bettors? Doesn’t it seem like just yesterday that Man City extended its winning streak to 11 games in the Premier League, that’s because it is. Oh that’s the joke bro, come on man.

Yes there are midweek games on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Rob Trites and I are going to break down our 10 picks for all the games, and hopefully I do better than I did on the weekend, I’m gonna have to borrow some money off Trites, is that okay? I don’t have any money either right now. In any event let’s get into it Trites, start us off with the game of the week Crystal Palace at Brighton in the game of the week yeah well Brighton’s actually been pretty good. They’ve been the most impressive of the promoted sides, yet they’re being offered at +160 for their home fixture against last place Crystal Palace, that’s weird. It’s been a while since they’ve earned 3 points at Fullmer stadium, but Tuesday’s matchup gives them a great opportunity to get back in the win column. I’ll happily take the Seagulls at this price.

Another Tuesday matchup sees 8th place Watford entertain United in a great run of form and I think that continues here. The horns have gotten out for their games against top six clubs other than Manchester City, scoring 7 goals in three matches against Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea. I think they’ll be going after result in this one and that means there’s going to be goals one way or another. This games going over 2.5 with a bullet. Moving over to Wednesday we’ll see Chelsea host an international fixture with Swansea and the Blues are big faves. Not much I like about this one looking at the juice, but with 3 days since their heavyweight tilt versus Liverpool, I think some guys get rested up.

I’m taking Willian to score anytime at +130 with hazard likely riding pine. Next up is Arsenal v. Huddersfield at the Emirates, and the Terriers have lost all semblance of form, some might say they’ve lost all their bite, and they’re coming off a performance that saw them throw everything but beggars kitchen sink at the unstoppable citizens and I think that shows in this midweek fixture. I’m taking Arsenal to cover the two goal spread at even money.

Last but not least we’ve got those citizens going for their 12th consecutive win as they host the Saints and this is easy. City ain’t losing before the Manchester darby take the powder blues to win two nil at +105. Ninj? Now for me as a Spurs fan I almost stopped watching the Premier League after their terrible display against West Brom on the weekend, but here I am.

Spurs visit Leister this week and I’m looking at the total in this one. I’m backing under two and a half at +105. Spurs have finished under that number and four straight and Leicester in back-to-back games, so I expect that little trend to keep going. I’m gonna take Newcastle at +235 in moneyline markets, for their visit to West Brom. The Magpies played embarrassingly poor against Watford, so I expect a big bounce back in this one. Burnley travels to Bournemouth after their last-minute loss to Arsenal, and I’m gonna take the under here as well.

Take under 2.5 at -140. Everton is just wildly out of control and is coming off a 4-1 loss to Southampton, but they get to go home to face an even more out of control West Ham. This one’s a complete coin flip and it could be the sloppiest game of the midweek fixtures, I did flip the coin the coin said Everton, so take the top he’s at +125 finally Liverpool travels to Stoke and I’m looking at the spread here I’ll take Stoke as +1 dogs at -110.

That’s it from us for the midweek fixtures whatever you decide to do with your bets best of luck and we’ll see you later in the week for the weekend games.
